Civic? McLaren? RR (of either variety)? Jag?

What 25+ year old UK market Civic is actually desirable enough to go through the process of importing to the US?

Who said anything about used? These are built in the UK for the US market.

He posted a while back that he custom-ordered an E63 AMG wagon. That must just be where Europe-assembled MB’s headed to the US leave from.

Could also hypothetically be an EG6 that someone in the UK imported from Japan. But actually an E-AMG wagon.

It just made a dropoff in the UK, it originated in Germany. A very fast wagon.

Ah, it’s the E63 then. I wonder why they ship out of the UK instead of a mainland Europe port.

Planes would provide swift release for customers anticipating their orders. They’d rather edge you for a month.

Nah, but the Focus has been at the Ford dealer for 3 weeks. I left it until they could do the test to see if it just needed a new head gasket or new head, it just needed a gasket. Then, I went to pick it up last Friday. I started it in the service parking lot and it did the higher RPM cold start then abruptly went to a low idle RPM and threw a check engine light. The tech at the Ford dealer say it was throwing a “bucket” of codes. So I left it and haven’t heard a peep since. I’m going to call tomorrow. Needless to say my trust in my local rinky-dink Ford dealer wasn’t high to begin with and hasn’t improved.
I sold the R8 when we bought a house last year. My wife’s driving a ‘18 Range V8SC. I still have the E30 M3, the E39 M5, the ‘86 Corolla Hatchback, and we’ve got a current Ford Transit Connect Titanium for errands and work stuff. I miss the SLS and SVR Range so I’m hoping the E63 Wagon covers both bases of fast a practical. A kid is in the next year or so of our future and we’ve got a huge dog to haul around.

I have a neighbor (tangently, these people live in the townhomes portion of my middle-class-barely region in Williamson county Tennessee) previously they had 2 x Audi TDI models, one was very modified with a “TDLie” Thule roof box. They have since swapped to a white XC90 Volvo (current-gen) and recently added a very new/nice Navy blue E63 AMG. These people literally owe more in car than their townhouse is worth.
